"Ahh, poor girl... don't you worry, the doc here'll fix you right up! Ahahaha!"

Not everyone realizes it, but just about everything has a consciousness. We just don't all think the same ways. Or express them the same. But there's plenty of people out there, ones who are a bit more understanding of the ways of thought we don't tend to think about.
I've always been like that for machines. Big hunks of metal, tiny scraps of junk. Once you know the language of a computer, you'll realize they almost never have nothing to say. They're always yapping off about this and that. They're cute li'l children... even if they like to be know-it-alls. That's why I learned how to solder coffee makers back together. I love to hear 'em sing.

"Oof, something did a number on you, huh? Don't worry. I've got diodes to spare and then some."

Sometimes I go out on vacations for a bit. I always make sure to grab abandoned electronics if I see 'em. Fix them up. Find them a new home. I might've set up shop in the world's fanciest techno-city, but the city itself's always looking for new children to take in. If they can't find new people to use them--or even if they could, but they don't want to--that's fine. As long as they can breathe, they can find new lives here.
So I consider myself a little bit of an orphanage. A home for lost machines. Got a whole extended family throughout Emerald Glimmer, little secret between myself and them. Always make sure to wave hi when we pass by, whether android or air conditioner.

"Not happy being a microphone, huh? Yeah, I guess I'd get sick of people calling me 'Mike' all the time, too. Hey, don't worry about it. You get to decide who you are around here. Maybe we'll all see you topping the charts next week? Ah, you'd rather be a manager, huh? Guess your dream of how you'd support young talent's a bit different from what birth dictated for you! Ahah, ahahahaha! Ah, hey, don't take it personal, like I just said--"

We don't choose what shape we come out as. But if I can choose my shape now, build one all for me... it'd be a shame not to help others find shapes of their own. We're all on this star together, right? Even the city wonders about its own form sometimes. So you can bet I'll always be here.
Whether metal or meat... you can count on me for finding the shape you feel most comfortable in!
